Cookie Policy

This website sets no cookies of its own: not to track you, not for advertising, and not to remember a cookie preference. There is no analytics running anywhere on this site, and nothing here follows you between sites. There is one exception worth naming: the Visit page embeds a Google map, and Google may set its own cookies inside it once it loads. That is described below. Everything else kept on your device is listed here in full, exists to make one small feature work, and is not used to watch how you browse.

If you tap “Add to Selection” on a piece, its slug (a short code such as sage-chikankari-set) is saved to your browser’s local storage under the key byseema:selection:v1, so your Selection is still there if you leave and come back. Local storage is technically different from a cookie: it stays on your device and is never sent automatically to any server the way a cookie is; it only reaches Seema if you choose to send it, by tapping Enquire or Reserve. It clears if you clear this site’s data in your browser.

Cinzel, Cormorant Garamond and Jost, the typefaces used on this site, are Google Fonts, but they are downloaded once at build time and served from this site’s own domain, not Google’s. Loading a page here does not request anything from Google, and sets no font-related cookie or tracker.

The Visit page embeds a Google map so you can see where the atelier is. It is the only thing on this site loaded from another company. It is set to load lazily, so it fetches nothing until you scroll down to it, and once it does load Google may set its own cookies inside that frame under its own policies, not ours. Everything else is a plain link: WhatsApp, Instagram and directions are links you choose to follow, and nothing from them loads here. Once you tap through, you are on their site and their policies apply.

Nothing on this site depends on cookies, so blocking them in your browser will not break anything here. If you would rather this site did not remember your Selection between visits, clear this site’s data in your browser settings, or simply do not add anything to your Selection.

This policy will be updated if that ever changes, for instance if a future feature genuinely needed a cookie. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
